Lima
Called the "City of Kings" during the colonial era, Lima was the largest city in South America and focused around the commercial and cultural power of the Hispanic colonies to Spain, reaching its peak during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. It was the capital of New Castile, then the Viceroyalty of Peru. Besides, its main port “Callao” was the origin of the discovery of many territories in the Pacific, including Polynesia, and nowadays from Lima, you can discover the charms of Peru.

- Park Reserve, highlights El Circuito Magico del Agua (“Magic Circuit of Water”), a wonderful spectacle of water features and interactive Cybernetic which get a perfect conjunction and harmony of water, light, music and pictures, with a Magic Fountain of 80m high and 12 spectacular Cybernetic Sources with multifunctional facilities, becoming a major tourist destination of international significance.
As a historical park, Urban Environment and Heritage Historic Monuments of the nation, it was recognized as a tribute to reservists during the Pacific War who defended the city of Lima.

- Historic Center of Lima, was declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO, which include:
- The Plaza Mayor, a beautiful space defined by the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral, the Municipal Palace and the Union Club. The central basin dates from the mid seventeenth century.
- The Church and Convent of San Francisco, are the most important architectural structures of the colonial times. The catacombs are underground galleries beneath the church, built of masonry with mortar, used as a cemetery until 1808.
- Torre Tagle Palace, a typical example of the colonial architecture, is the most beautiful house built in 1735.
- Osambela House, its facade has five balconies and a wonderful view.
- Spanish Inquisition, known as the tribunal of the Inquisition that worked until 1813, which tried and convicted people accused of heresy and other crimes against the faith.
- San Martin Square, one of the most representative public spaces of the city of Lima, the central monument is made in honor of the liberator Don José de San Martín.
- Chabuca Granda Boulevard, there you can see the old neighborhood of Rimac, Cerro San Cristobal, the Desamparados Station, the Bridge “rayos de sol” and a vast horizon of colonial mansions. It has three auditoriums and stages for music and Creole varieties.
Archaeological Sites in Lima, the geographical area of Lima before the Spanish foundation in 1535, was inhabited by diverse pre-Inca peoples, then dominated by the Incas, who have bequeathed magnificent constructions and temples, preserved and restored, include:
- Huaca of Huallamarca, a pyramidal building typical of pre-Hispanic temples on the coast of Peru.
- Huaca Pucllana, an ancient ceremonial center of Lima culture.
- Pachacamac, surrounded by several monuments such as temples, palaces and houses where ancient inhabitants worshiped the god of the same name, has a museum which exhibits archaeological pieces found in the area during the excavations.
- Caral, the oldest city in Peru (more than 5000 years from the present) where settled the first Andean civilization that built the foundations of an own unique social organization, which along with Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China and Mesoamerica all of them are outbreaks originating from culture in the world.

- Exposition Park, one of the most beautiful of Lima, in their areas are located the Lima Art Museum, “La Cabaña” theater, the Japanese fleet, the Department of Transport, the Amphitheater of Lima all of them can be visited all year.
- The Viewpoint of the Hill San Cristobal, from here you can appreciate the full extent throughout the city of Lima.
- Park of the Legends, you will see species from different regions of our country and other parts of the world, also visit huacas found in the park dating from 700 BC.
- Marsh of Villa, this place is a refuge for endemic and migratory birds, also it has its own flora as rushes and cattails and more.
- Constitutional Province of Callao, since colonial times, Callao was the seaport of Lima, therefore, one of the most important in Peru. Nowadays it has their facilities in the country's main port and Jorge Chavez International Airport, so it becomes the main gateway to Peru.
- Real Felipe Fortress, was built in the form of a Pentagonito to protect the Spanish treasures from European pirates and mercenaries armed by powers enemies against Spain.
- Palomino Islands, a tourist area where is possible to see an important quantity of marine wolves living in their natural habitat. The islands are home to large colonies of seabirds. On its shores you can find seagulls, guanaye, tendrils, piqueros, pelicans and chuitas.

- Bullfighting Museum and Plaza de Acho, is the museum located next to the Plaza de Acho, displays the costumes, capes, cloaks and other members of the leading bullfighters of all times.
Gastronomy
Lima is also known as the gastronomic capital of South America, thanks to the persistence of the cuisine, which inherited the pre-Hispanic and colonial culinary excellence and the contribution of the great cuisines of East and West.
